Viya Appoints New Head of International Business to Drive Global Growth

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 30 June 2026 - Viya has appointed Khozama Al Saadi as Head of International Business & Corporate Relations as the company continues to strengthen its position within the global golf tourism market and drive international growth across its portfolio of clubs in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

In her new role, Khozama will lead Viya’s international growth strategy, working closely with tour operators, destination management companies (DMCs) and travel trade partners to expand inbound golf tourism across key source markets. She will also focus on developing new international business opportunities and strengthening awareness of Viya’s championship golf and hospitality experiences among global audiences.

The appointment comes as Viya looks to further enhance its international presence through strategic partnerships, commercial relationships and market development initiatives.

What makes the appointment particularly interesting is the profile Khozama brings. Prior to joining Viya, she built a career across international business development, strategic partnerships, and investment attraction, including senior responsibilities at Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), where she led corporate sales strategy across key international markets, attracting international companies to the emirate and strengthening Dubai’s global business ecosystem.

She also held roles at Dubai Chambers, focusing on foreign direct investment and international business missions, alongside commercial positions with Jumeirah Group and other leading Dubai-based organisations.

Khozama succeeds Pansy Gonsalvez, who after more than 20 years with the business leaves behind an exceptional legacy within international golf tourism. Throughout her career, Pansy played a key role in developing Viya’s relationships across the global travel trade and helped establish the destination’s reputation among international golf tour operators and industry stakeholders. She had played a central role in helping bring IAGTO’s first convention to Abu Dhabi, the kind of contribution that reflects both trust within the sector and years of relationship-building.

Working closely together during the handover period, Pansy and Khozama are ensuring a seamless transition, maintaining the strong relationships and trusted partnerships that have been built over many years while positioning the business for continued growth.

While continuity remains important, the appointment reflects Viya’s focus on the future and its ambition to further grow its international footprint. Khozama brings a strong commercial background, extensive experience in international market development and a proven track record in building strategic partnerships across global markets.

With an established portfolio of championship golf destinations, world-class hospitality experiences and increasing international demand, Viya is well positioned for its next phase of growth. Khozama’s appointment represents an important step in supporting that ambition and strengthening the brand’s presence within the global golf tourism landscape.
